Dear collegue,

obviously my Overview on software for visual psychophysics had been a
little dusty, or such was the tenor of a recent (rather nice) review in
iPerception
(http://i-perception.perceptionweb.com/journal/I/volume/3/article/i002ir).
So I sat down and took my son's advice for dust removal.

Here is a freshly bathed and brushed version. All the links are checked,
outdated entries were weeded out, and those of historical interest only
were marked as such. There are the latest entries from ECVP 2012. It's
now HTML 4.01 compatible. There is more color. And check out Fechner.

Point it out to young colleagues and students not yet on Visionlist or
CVNet, to spare them searching around. Though this might keep them from
writing yet another great package that I can put on the list.

As before, it's on the VisionScience page
http://www.visionscience.com/ under "Resources – Software", at the very
end, and also under “Guides & FAQs”. The direct link is:

http://www.visionscience.com/documents/strasburger/strasburger.html

The latest version further resides on my personal homepage
(www.hans.strasburger.de/psy_soft.html)

There is now a new button "Coffee for Hans". Feel free to try it out.

As always, comments are welcome.

Enjoy,

Hans Strasburger
