The Opportunity
The Australian Regenerative Medicine Institute have a newly created position for a PhD qualified candidate in the area of anatomical / molecular neuroscience. Some experience as a postdoctoral scientist will be essential for your success. 

As a Level A Research Fellow in the Bourne Laboratory, you will conduct research with limited supervision both independently and as part of a team. The Bourne Group's research is focussed on the development and maturation of the cerebral cortex of primates and other mammals.
Your previous experience being sought for this position includes:
·    Experience with general immunohistochemical and histological techniques and microscopic analyses
·    Good experience with animal surgery and behaviour
·    Proficiency with routine laboratory techniques, use/maintenance of common apparatus and storage and handling of hazardous materials
·    Excellent organisational skills including experience in report writing, projects, and ability to make a good impression on key research leaders
·    Strong enthusiasm for research with the potential and desire to obtain government grant funding success in the future
