Postdoc in EEG/fMRI
*Position:* The Auburn University MRI Research Center (AUMRIRC) invites
applications for a post doc position in functional magnetic resonance
imaging (fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG). AUMRIRC has a Siemens
state-of-the-art open-bore 3T human scanner and a 7T actively-shielded,
whole-body scanner with 8 parallel transmit channels, 128 receive
channels, and multinuclear capability

for this position will have the opportunity to assist in the development
of a new brain imaging program.
*Responsibilities:* The successful candidate is expected to contribute
to the growth of the brain imaging program at AUMRIRC through the following:
1. Assist in fMRI, EEG and EEG/fMRI stimulus presentation and data
acquisition
2. Analyze data using one of the standard software packages such as SPM,
AFNI etc
3. Contribute towards new avenues for research at the center. Examples
include EEG/fMRI, real time fMRI, hyper-scanning and novel data analysis
methodologies
4. Assist in the preparation of grants for obtaining extramural funding
*Qualifications:* A Ph.D. or equivalent in electrical engineering,
biomedical engineering, physics, neuroscience, psychology or a closely
related field is required. Experience with MR imaging and fMRI for 3T
systems and higher is desired. Preference will be given to candidates
with experience in simultaneous EEG/fMRI acquisition and analysis. The
candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility
requirements to work in the United States at the time appointment is
scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of
employment; excellent communication skills required.
