ICIAP 2013 CALL FOR TUTORIAL PROPOSALS
The International Conference on Image Analysis and Processing (ICIAP) is 
endorsed by the International Association for Pattern Recognition 
(IAPR), and will take place in Naples, Italy, between September 11-13, 
2013.

The aim of Tutorials is to provide a comprehensive overview of specific 
research areas in Pattern Recognition, Machine Learning, Biometrics, 
Medical Imaging, Multimodal Interaction, Multimedia Processing, and 
Computer Vision.  The topics should be of sufficient relevance with 
respect to the state of the art and the tutorial should be educational 
rather than just a survey of techniques. A typical Tutorial duration is 
half-day (3-4 hours, including breaks).

To submit a proposal, please send the following information to the 
Chairs by January 25, 2013 (plain text email or a .pdf file):
-Proposer's name, title, affiliation, and email;
-Proposer's short bio (max. 2 paragraphs);
-Tutorial title and extended abstract;
-Intended audience (introductory, intermediate, advanced) and expected 
knowledge to be transferred;
-Outline of the tutorial, along with descriptions of the course 
objectives and materials;
-Special requirements (standard equipment will be data projection 
facilities only);
-Expected number of participants.

ICIAP 2013 organization will be responsible of the Tutorial session 
organization and advertising of the event, as well as of the logistic 
and financial aspects.
