A postdoctoral research position is available for researchers interested
in binocular rivalry. The project is a collaboration between the
laboratories of Sheng He (Psychology), Bin He (Biomedical Engineering)
and Steve Engel (Psychology). We are studying the neural bases of
rivalry using multimodal imaging (simultaneous EEG and fMRI) and are
developing novel analysis techniques for the joint data sets. The
successful applicant will have the opportunity to use the
state-of-the-art imaging facilities and to collaborate with the large
community of vision researchers at UMN. For past results from this
project see: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21791293.

The position is for one year with the option of extension to a second,
and anticipated start date is summer 2013 with some flexibility.
Applicants should have experience with imaging and/or psychophysics as
well as good programming skills. To apply, send a C.V., and the names
of three references to sheng at umn.edu or engel at umn.edu.
