Call for Abstracts:  The Eye, The Brain, & The Auto 2013 International Conference
September 16-18, 2013
Dearborn, Michigan, USA
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE:  March 1, 2013

The Eye, The Brain, & The Auto is an international research conference dedicated to improving our understanding of the relationship between vision and the safe operation of motor vehicles.  The conference is sponsored by the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology, a division of the Henry Ford Department of Ophthalmology, Henry Ford Health System.

Sessions will be devoted to a variety of topics including:
Visual processing, visual attention, human factors
Design issues relevant to vehicle and roadway design
Vision impairment and eye conditions influencing driving
Driver safety
Government policies that address vision and driving such as driver assessment
Rehabilitation strategies for the visually challenged driver

We welcome Abstract Submissions for either a 20 minute paper presentation or a poster presentation format.  Please follow the abstract submission guidelines at:
