Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Multimodal Affective Measurement



Location: Technicolor Research & Innovation, Rennes, France

Full Time, Fixed Term (18 Months)

Start Date: Flexible



A postdoctoral position is available at Technicolor research (Rennes, France), to work on questions of multimodal body sensing to measure cognitive information in A/V entertainment applications. The project involve existing non invasive technologies to capture affective responses (GSR, facial expressions, EMG) or brain activity (such as EEG, fNIR) and see how these signals are correlated to people reactions (emotional or cognitive).

The position is for 18 months. The start date is flexible. Salary to be discussed.



We are looking for a highly motivated individual with experience with EEG, ERPs, fMRI, or eye-tracking. PhD in computer or human vision, with strong computational skills, significant experience with programming (e.g. Matlab, C, C++) and experience of visual psychophysics is highly desirable. The Post-doc is also expected to participate to the external promotion of his work via publications, conferences and invited talks.
