Postdoctoral positions are available at University of Houston to work on developing psychophysical models for medical image perception. This is a collaborative project between department of physics and biomedical engineering. The tasks involve contributing to the development of a visual search model observer for tomographic breast imaging. Eye tracking studies will be conducted to better modelling of visual search pattern. Background in feature analysis and image processing is desirable.
Ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, mathematical and computational skills and interest in medical imaging. Experience with eye tracking is desirable but not necessary. Interested candidates may email their CV and letter to Dr. Mini Das (mdas at uh.edu) and Dr. Howard Gifford (hgifford at uh.edu).
