The Opportunity

The School of Psychology and Psychiatry is seeking to appoint a dynamic
individual, wishing to pursue or further an academic career in Psychology
as an Associate Professor (Reader level) on a continuing basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably enthusiastic academic to
develop a world-class program of research that focuses on human cognitive
neuroscience.  We particularly encourage applications from individuals who
have a strong track record in developmental cognitive neuroscience. The
applicant should have a growing international reputation in their field, a
proven research track record of external funding, and have led or have
clear potential to lead an internationally competitive research group.

You will:

   - be innovative in and lead a cognitive neuroscience research program
   - be proactive in building interdisciplinary collaborations and
   translating research outcomes
   - excel in teaching activities in undergraduate psychology and
   postgraduate programs.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements
may be negotiated.

Appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful
applicant's qualifications, experience and in accordance with
classification standards for each level.
