Position Summary

We are seeking engineering graduates to develop, test, and deploy our data analysis solutions. The selected candidates will be tasked with improving the robustness of our existing solutions, and implementing VideoMining solutions at our customers' retail locations to solve business problems. The desired candidate should be able to implement and demonstrate a basic understanding of data structures and algorithms. The candidate will become a member of our vision services group, and will have the opportunity to work with a team of highly motivated individuals. Leadership roles are available to qualified candidates.

VideoMining is a leading provider of software-based services for converting video into actionable information. The company's breakthrough technologies work with surveillance type cameras to automatically derive behavior and demographics of people to provide retail businesses with real-time "intelligence" for improving customer service, marketing, and merchandising. Duties and Responsibilities


  *   Develop algorithms to solve specific problems.
  *   Understand the customer's business needs and translate them into VideoMining platform specifications.
  *   Configure VideoMining's proprietary software.
  *   Ensure data collection with a high level of reliability.
  *   Write software scripts to manipulate data into necessary formats.
  *   Perform analysis of data for customer projects.

Experience/Skills Required

*         BS/MS in an engineering discipline such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

*         Excellent analytical ability and problem solving skills.

*         Working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming.

*         Working knowledge of SQL is a plus

*         Experience with XML, Python, or C# is a plus.

*         Knowledge of the .NET platform and some experience with Visual Studio is a plus.

*         Ability to learn and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

*         Detail oriented with the ability to work independently.

*         2+ years engineering in a professional capacity a plus
