Dear Colleagues,
I am assisting CORM (the Council for Optical Radiation Measurements) with the planning of their annual conference in the Washington, DC area on May 7-9, specifically with a session on visual information displays dealing with measurement, optics, and human factors issues. CORM is focused on photometry, colorimetry and technology and visual aspects of light, light sources, visual displays and other systems and it is made up of people from NIST and other standards bodies such as NRC-Canada, lamp and light source companies, CIE (International Illumination Commission) representatives, instrumentation makers, and university and other researchers.
The conference registration fee will be waived for presenters. If you are interested in giving a talk at this conference related to the general area of information display, please contact me with a tentative topic and title.
More information about the conference is online at www.cormusa.org.
Thanks and take care!
John
