Big Data Computer Vision is held in conjunction with CVPR 2013 and will
take place at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon. This
workshop focuses on scalable image analysis algorithms, methods and
solutions for addressing the ever increasing amounts of big image data that
are dynamic, complex, multidimensional and multi-modal. This workshop
covers all aspects of large scale vision and will be the venue for papers
which potentially involve interdisciplinary researchers from all the fields
connected to large-scale image analysis.

This workshop invites papers in the areas that include advances in Big Data
Computer Vision in the topics mentioned below (but not limited to):

   -     Feature and Information Extraction
   -     Representation, Indexing, Storage, and Analysis
   -     Automated 3D Modeling Pipelines
   -     Multi-Modal Visual Sensor Data Fusion
   -     Rendering and Visualization of Large-Scale Models
   -     Semantic Labels and Imagery
   -     Datasets and Model Validation Methods
   -     2D and 3D Motion analysis methods
   -     Video event detection and analysis
   -     Incremental and online video event learning
   -     Content-based video retrieval
   -     Object/instance search in video
   -     Unconstrained video analysis (Web, Consumer, etc)
   -     Social video analysis and topic mining
   -     Video surveillance
   -     Mobile-based video search and analysis
   -     Benchmark 'Big' datasets

Paper submission will be handled by Microsoft's Academic Conference
Management Service at https://cmt.research.microsoft.com/BV2013/ . The
submission and review process will follow CVPR 2013 conference submissions.
All the selected papers will be included in Proceedings of CVPR 2013
(CVPR-DVD) and made available on IEEE eXplore.
