[visionlist] RA position in cognitive neuroscience at the University of Delaware

The Cognitive Neuropsychology Laboratory at the University of Delaware is looking to hire a research assistant starting in the Summer/Fall of 2013.  Our lab focuses on how we represent our bodies and the space around us.  We use a variety of cognitive neuroscience techniques, including detailed cognitive examinations of individuals with brain damage, experiments with neurologically intact individuals, and non-invasive brain stimulation (including TMS and tDCS).

Responsibilities include scheduling and testing participants, data coding and analysis, recruiting brain-damaged individuals from the local population, and general lab management.  This position is ideal for someone who wants to gain research experience before entering graduate school and is keenly interested in cognitive neuroscience and cognitive neuropsychology.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in psychology or neuroscience.  Applicants should have coursework in research methods and statistics, and a strong interest in cognition.  A 2-year commitment is preferred.  Review of applications will begin on April 21st.
