Vassar College, Visiting part-time biopsychologist, Spring 2003

The department of biology at Vassar College is seeking a neurobiologist to
team-teach an intermediate-level undergraduate course in biopsychology,
"Model and Systems in Biopsychology". This interdisciplinary, team-taught
course focuses on the multilevel analysis involved in the study of key
issues in biopsychology using a "topics" approach. The qualified individual
should be able to cover specific topics in biopsychology, such as circadian
rhythms, learning and memory, neuroendocrine bases of particular behaviors,
etc., from multiple perspectives ranging from behavioral to molecular. The
course has a laboratory component and the individual would be responsible
for teaching 1/2 of the laboratories in addition to lectures.

The course typically meets twice weekly with a weekly lab.
