Research Associate
Optics

Immediate opening to work on a federally-funded project to build a 
prototype for retinal imaging, a small, digital retinal imaging device, 
aimed at remote use in cases of trauma.  A Ph.D. or similar degree in 
engineering or physics with hands-on experience in building devices for 
photonics and digital imaging are essential.  Experience in biomedical 
applications is beneficial.  Position is funded for 12 months and comes 
with a generous benefits package.  Independent contractors would also be 
considered, but onsite, collaborative work is required.  Follow-on projects 
are a possibility, subject to funding availability.  Laboratory website:
