NSF REU (Research Experiences for Undergraduates) Opportunities
in visual psychophysics and computational modeling
Summer 2003

This program is designed to provide qualified undergraduates (US
Citizens and Permanent Residents) with the opportunity to conduct a
research project under the guidance of a faculty mentor.

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come-first-served basis. 
The final deadline for receipt of applications is April 1, 2003. 
Each application will be acknowledged, and all applicants will be 
notified on or before April 8, 2003, as to their status. 

Students selected for participation in this program will receive a 
stipend of $3,850.  Non-local students will receive a subsistence
allowance to cover the costs of room and board. All tuition and fees 
will be covered and out-of-state transportation expenses 
(one round-trip from the principal place of residence to Houston) 
will be paid.
