The purpose of the conference is to summarize current knowledge =
regarding mechanisms of photobleaching in rods and cones, and the =
metabolism of retinoids in photoreceptors and the RPE. Particular =

disease, and to investigating naturally occurring and =
laboratory-generated animal models for these diseases. Session topics =
