The School of Psychology is a world-class department and has been
given the highest rating in each of the research assessment=20
exercises (currently 5*A) and judged Excellent for teaching by the
1997 Teaching Quality Assessment. The School supports a research and=20
teaching strategy which ensures that students get excellent=20
instruction from staff who are leaders in their field while at the=20
same time ensuring that staff have sufficient time to devote to=20
their research activities.=20

As Chair in human experimental psychology you will be a leading=20
figure with an international reputation. Complementing our existing
research strengths in cognitive neuroscience, perception and=20
cognition, social psychology, behavioural neuroscience and=20
evolutionary psychology, you should have a successful track record=20
of publication, grant funding and supervision of postgraduate=20
students.=20

Lectureship in Psychology - Ref no: SK162/6818/03=20
Salary - =A322,191 - =A333,679 pa

As an early career lecturer, you will also complement our existing=20
research strengths and have the potential to achieve a high level=20
of success in publications, grant funding and supervision.=20
