Applications are invited for the post of Postdoctoral Research Fellow in=20
visual psychophysics in the Department of Psychology, UCL. This is for an=20
EPSRC funded project on human vision, carried out in the Laboratory headed=
=20
by Dr. Li Zhaoping. Our laboratory is mainly interested in studying the=20
pre-attentive and attentive mechanisms in vision, using both theoretical=20
and psychophysical approaches (see=20
http://www.gatsby.ucl.ac.uk/~zhaoping/lab.html). The candidate must be=20
sufficiently familiar with general visual psychophysics knowledge, and=20
skilled at the usual experimental techniques, including experimental=20
design, hardware set-up, and programming. The candidate must also be=20
interested in collaborating with modellers in the laboratory and be good at=
=20
team works, although mathematical skills are among the requirements.

Salary on the RA1A scale ie (=A320,399-=A329,473 inclusive of London=20
