The Optical Society of America awards the Tillyer Award once every two
years to a person who has performed distinguished work in the field of
vision.  The last seven recipients have been Sperling, Mollon, Williams,
Robson, Nachmias, Barlow and Smith & Pokorny.  The committee for the 2004
Tillyer award would like to invite nominations from all members of the
