Dear Colleagues,
I wish to bring to your attention the SPIE Medical Imaging meeting to be
held in San Diego, CA, in 2004. The dates are Feb 14th through Feb 19th. The
focus of the sessions that I am most interested in are "Image Perception,
Observer Performance and Technology Assessment".
In our sessions I look forward to a variety of talks on observer performance
methodology, in particular state-of-the-art ROC and FROC methods, clinical
evaluation of CAD, modeling image perception, model observers, vision
models, AMLCD display evaluation and other interesting and significant
areas.
This is a top quality meeting offering many opportunities for informal
technical and scientific exchanges; it is one of my favorites, and San Diego
simply can't be beat in February.
If you wish to submit a 250-word abstract, the deadline is August 4th. All
