The Center for Visual Science at the University of Rochester is 
seeking a senior programmer to develop software for research in 
visual science. The position involves working with faculty, 
postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students on the development of 
novel and sophisticated instruments to study the eye and brain (for 
example, see www.cvs.rochester.edu/williamslab). Familiarity with 
Macintosh operating systems, Matlab, C++, mathematics, engineering, 
and real time control of scientific instruments is desirable. The 
successful candidate will have considerable independence, working in 
a vigorous and exciting research environment.  Competitive salary
