Dear colleagues:

We are pleased to announce the 24th Center for Visual Science 
Symposium, titled "Adaptive Representation and Control in Vision", to 
be held on June 18 - 20, 2004 at the University of Rochester.  This 
meeting will focus on the neural mechanisms responsible for the 
integration of perceptual processing and various cognitive factors 
related to the animal's past experience and motivational state. 
Traditionally, this forum has allowed close interaction among the 
participants.  A limited number of travel awards and fellowship will 
be provided for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.  For
