FACULTY POSITION IN
COMPUTER VISION / COMPUTATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE
The Center for Perceptual Systems at The University of Texas at Austin is
currently inviting applications for a full-time appointment at the
Assistant or Associate Professor level to begin September 1,
2004. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited
institution and a demonstrated ability to pursue an independent research
program. Salary will be commensurate with experience. We are particularly
interested in candidates who will be able to establish a strong research
program in computer vision and/or computational neuroscience. The
successful candidate will hold an appointment in an appropriate university
department (e.g., Computer Science, Psychology, Neurobiology), will be
expected to develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program,
and will be expected to participate in teaching activities at both the
graduate and undergraduate levels. For more information about Center for
