AEGEAN CORNEA VII, 2-4 July 2004, Aldemar Olympian Village hotel, West =
Pelopennese, Greece
The Aegean meetings have been established as highly prestigious =
ophthalmological events worldwide. Each year the =93Aegean=94 =
Conferences take place in a different location in Greece. The scientific =
program comprises presentations pertaining to recent developments and =
discussions on subjects covering the anterior part of the eye (Aegean =
Cornea) and the posterior part of the eye (Aegean Retina).
=20
The 2004 Aegean Cornea is the seventh installment in a series, which =
started with the first meeting in 1992, and constantly increase in =
attendance as well as in scientific, educational and research interest =
worldwide. The ambition for perfection has widened the goals the meeting =
aims to achieve, however the scope of its main objectives has maintained =
constant. The participants will be presented with the newest information =
concerning disorders of the anterior segment of the eye through an =
interactive process of a presentation followed by an open discussion.
The members of the Organizing Committee are well-known experts in the =
cornea and refractive surgery field, in a meeting that provides a forum =
for the presentation of recent data and the exchange of new ideas by the =
most prominent scientists. The location has been selected in order to =
provide a relaxing and inspiring environment, enhancing fruitful =
discussions and innovative future research directions.
This year=92s scientific program will start on Friday 2 July and will =
end on Sunday 4 July, 2004. Onsite registration will be on Thursday =
afternoon and on Friday morning. There will be a welcome reception on =
Thursday night, a guided tour on Friday afternoon and a dinner party to =
end the festivities of the meeting on Saturday night.
