A post-doctoral research associate position is available to work on the
integration of scene perception and language with John Henderson and
Fernanda Ferreira in the Cognitive Science Program at Michigan State
University
(<a href=3D"http://www.cogsci.msu.edu/">http://www.cogsci.msu.edu/</a>). We
are seeking a person with expertise in fMRI who is interested in bringing
this methodology to bear on issues in high-level vision, language, and
their integration. Michigan State University has a vibrant cognitive
science community supported by an IGERT training grant from NSF, a newly
established cognitive science research center devoted to the behavioral,
computational, and neurobiological study of vision, language, and action,
and a new fMRI facility slated to come on-line in 2004 featuring a
research-dedicated 3T scanner and associated support personnel.
Consideration of applications will begin immediately and will continue
until an appropriate candidate is found. Start date is flexible.
Applicants must have completed the doctoral degree prior to taking the
position. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
The position is renewable for up to three years. Interested applicants
