A full-time, postdoctoral position is available to study the role of=20
the visual attention in motion perception, tracking and control of=20
moving objects as part of the Motion, Attention and Control lab in the=20=
Department of Psychology at Vanderbilt University in Nashville,=20
Tennessee.=A0=A0Research in the lab aims to understand how visual =
attention=20
interacts with motion perception and visuo-motor systems to track the=20
motion of target objects.=A0The lab uses a combination of techniques=20
including psychophysics, traditional cognitive experiments, and=20
functional neuroimaging (fMRI).=A0For more information contact the lab=20=

The successful candidate should have experience in vision science,=20
cognitive psychology, computer programming, and/or functional=20
neuroimaging, but these skills are not required.=A0Candidates with=20
experience studying motor performance or the neural basis of motor=20
control, but with an interest in studying visual perception, will also=20=
be considered.=A0Vanderbilt University has an active Vision Research=20
Center (VVRC) and a strong Cognitive and Integrative Neuroscience=20
Center (CICN).=A0In addition, the Vanderbilt Post Doctoral Association =
