Princeton University's=A0Center for the Study of Brain, Mind and =
Behavior=20
(CSBMB)=A0is seeking=A0a fulltime research assistant to work on visual=20=

perception, memory, and attention, using both behavioral tasks and fMRI=20=

methods.

The=A0successful candidate=A0will help=A0with the daily running of a=20
laboratory directed by=A0Professor Anne Treisman,=A0with programming and=20=

running behavioral experiments,=A0with running participants in fMRI=20
studies and with analyzing data;=A0will take part in lab meetings and=20
discussions;=A0will help=A0with the preparation of papers for =
publication=20
and=A0with some library searches.=A0BA/BS/BE required; courses in=20
Psychology preferred.  Programming skill=A0(beyond=20
word-processing)essential. Experience with functional magnetic=20
resonance imaging would also be an advantage, but there may be=20
opportunities to learn these skills. The CSBMB has a 3-Tesla Siemens=20
Allegra (head-only) scanner=A0dedicated to=A0research.

The position=A0will provide experience of research in a variety of =
topics=20
in experimental psychology and human brain imaging, which would be an=20
ideal preparation for graduate school in Cognitive Psychology or=20
Cognitive Neuroscience, or for professional training in related areas.=20=

There may also be some work with patients. The=A0initial appointment=A0is=20=

for one year, with an expectation of renewal if=A0mutually agreeable.=20
Starting date around Sept 1, 2004. Salary will be commensurate with=20
experience.
