Two Postdoctoral Positions, Brown University, Behavioral
Neurophysiology<br>
&nbsp;<br>
Two postdoctoral positions are available immediately on a collaborative
project between neurophysiologists (Michael Paradiso, David Sheinberg)
and mathematicians (Elie Bienenstock, Stuart Geman) studying neural
processing in ventral stream visual areas (V1 to IT).&nbsp;
Multi-electrode recording will generate data to be examined with advanced
statistical analyses to characterize receptive field properties, relative
temporal firing patterns, and the dynamics by which receptive fields
change to facilitate behavior.&nbsp; The positions are in the
neurophysiology labs of Drs. Paradiso and Sheinberg.&nbsp; Experience
with neurophysiology, statistics, visual psychophysics, and programming
are advantageous but not essential.&nbsp; Send curriculum vitae,
