Neurophysiology of Visual Attention

A postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory of Sensorimotor
Research, National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health,
Department of Health and Human Services to investigate the
neurophysiology of visual attention in the frontal and parietal cortices
of behaving monkeys.  Experimental techniques include psychophysics,
single- and multi-electrode recording, electrical microstimulation, and
inactivation studies.

Applicants must have received a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree within the last
5 years.  Experience in neurophysiology, attention or perception
research, primate behavioral training and computer programming (C and
Matlab) are preferred.
