The Department of Psychology at McMaster University invites
applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning
July 1, 2005. Areas of research include: mechanisms of neural
development, synaptic plasticity, learning and memory, and sensory
systems. We are interested in candidates using state-of-the-art
neuroscience approaches and animal models.

The successful candidate is expected to establish a strong research
program that complements existing departmental research strengths, and
be committed to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and
graduate levels (www.science.mcmaster.ca/psychology).

Candidates should send a CV, statement of research and teaching
interests, 2-3 representative publications, and 3 letters of
recommendation by January 15 2005.
